G SUITE EDUCATION
TOOLS FOR COLLABORATION, COMMUNICATION, & CREATIVITY
G Suite for Education is a set of education productivity tools from Google including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Classroom and more, used by tens of millions of schools, learners and teachers around the world.
PISD, with the consent of the parents/guardians, shall provide and manage a G Suite for Education account for the learners. The learners will use this G Suite account primarily to access Google Classroom and Google Meet. In Google classroom, learners will complete assignments, communicate with their teachers and learn 21st century digital citizenship skills, while Live Instruction shall be done via teleconferencing in Google Meet.
G Suite is not only for learners. Parents and guardians may also benefit from G Suite through weekly class summaries sent to their registered email addresses. These summaries help parents keep track of their children's progress in class, as well as tasks to be submitted and their due dates.
